Whereas internet is rapidly developing, there are more and more disputes of domain name. What is the difference between domain name and trademark right; what is the attribute of domain name; how to regulate registering act of domain name; and how to settle the disputes of domain name? This dissertation analyses all the above legal problems in six parts, which are about the definition, structure, type, characteristic, function and internet domain name right. The dissertation, considering domain name right as a separate right, analyses the similarities and differences among domain name right, right to utilize corporate name and trademark right utilizing comparison method. The dissertation brings up the countermeasures to solve disputes of domain name and legislative suggestions aiming at the subjective and objective expressionism and causes of disputes of domain name.
