Folk-custom is a living type and behavioral mode, which is formed gradually, emerged repeatly and handed down generation by generation in the historic developing course of a country or a nationality. As an organic part of social cultural, compared to science, it influences the literature of the times more directly, more activily, for its profound deposity of psychology and extent containing.Ci poetry, the most representative literatural form in Song Dynasty, has the same place to Tang poetry in literatural history. But current research on the relation between Song Ci poetry and folk-custom is not very deep. Taking Song Ci poetry and festival custom as study object, the thes.s discusses the cultural and psychological mechanism, which contained in the special phenomena in Song Dynasty.The thesis includes two parts.The first part is "festival custom and Song Ci poetry", discussing the new historic features of festival custom and the influence of it to the creation of Song Ci poetry. The author thinks that under the influence of special politicy and economy in Song Dynasty, the number of festivals increased, the scale of traditional festivals was enlarged, and the entaining and commercial elements were strengthened. The festival custom riched the content of Song Ci poetry, offers the juncture of creation and drapes an aura of romanticism over Song Ci poetry.The second part is "Ci poetry about festival and people in Song Dynasty", in which the author analyses the unique psychological characters of social groups in Song Dynasty contained in the typical Ci poems about festival custom. This part is constituted of three sections: Yuan Xiao Ci-the pursue to human liberty and equality; Qi Xi Ci-the dis-play of women 'gloomy and yerning; ChongYang Ci- the desire to life eternity and enjoyness.
