With more than 20 years of economic reform and opening for outside world, China's has entered into WTO, How to get and keep predominance on competition is a key for every company for surviving and developing. Similar with some companies, in past decade, CASE Group's business extending widely and variedly, the "cake" has been made bigger and bigger, the demand for financial means has become more and more correspondingly. How to get the money in high effective using and get the maximized profits is a challenge for company and its final target as well as for others.The article here introduced the changes of management of CASE Group since 2001, Value Based Management has been using as its internal investment decision and operational management reference. With this case expatiates the thinking of Value Based Management, background and guide for its implementation, the experience of how to combine VBM with current controlling system by CASE Group and also its success on using QAD ERP system to fulfill calculation and analysis of the value relative parameters of VBM timely, emphasis the important sense of VBM on business management.
