Internal Composition And Conversion Of The Traditional Chinese Moral Way Of Thinking

The research on China's traditional thinking-mode has been being one of important issues in the study about China's traditional philosophy and China's traditional civilization. Because of the focuses of China's traditional philosophy are ethics and life, most of scholars think that China's traditional philosophy is essentially the moral philosophy, so they usually substitute the thinking-mode of moral with the thinking-mode of philosophy, and few of them have specially touched on China's traditional thinking-mode of moral. Actually, after having gained the general form, China's traditional philosophy developed from traditional ethics and morals has not only taken the ethics and morals as its major contents, but also involved important contents such as ontology and epistemology, etc.China's traditional philosophy differs from China's traditional moral philosophy, and the traditional thinking-mode of philosophy is unequal to the traditional thinking-mode of moral. On the foundation of all the scattered discussions about thinking-mode of moral up to now which were involved when the scholars had researched on the traditional civilization and the traditional philosophy. The thesis reconsiders the traditional thinking-mode of moral with the view of contemporary moral philosophy, clarifies its inner structure and levels, then separates out its contemporary meanings and inherent shortcomings. Basing upon the contemporary reality, and through realizing the contemporary transformation of China's thinking-mode of moral, the author seeks the historical foundation of the socialism morals building.The thesis consists of three parts:Part 1 is the basic theories about the thinking of moral. After making clear of the basic concepts of moral thinking, the thinking-mode of moral, the essential factors of moral thinking, etc, the author stresses to analyze the inner structure and defines researching levels of the thinking-mode of moral, which includes four aspects - the outlook model of moral, the formof moral thinking the methods of moral thinking and the process of moral thinking. Taking these as researching foundation, the author goes deep into inspecting the meanings of the traditional thinking-mode of moral and its inner structure, then establishes the form of its expression and its philosophical foundation. These provide the theoretical premise for the further research on the traditional thinking-mode of moral.Part 2 is the analysis of the inner structure of the traditional thinking-mode of moral. This is the key part of the thesis. The author constructs creatively the inner structure of the traditional thinking-mode of moral with ripe theories and methods in the research on the contemporary philosophical thinking, and discusses the major content of the inner structure of the traditional thinking-mode of moral in detail through the aspects of the traditional outlook model of moral, the traditional form of moral thinking, the traditional methods of moral thinking and the traditional processes of moral thinking.Part 3 is about the reflections of the traditional thinking-mode of moral. From the angle of history, the author analyses the certainty of reflecting the traditional thinking-mode of moral, and establishes the correct standard and direction of research for finding its shortcoming, excavating its contemporary meaning and realizing its transformation. Then the author demonstrates comprehensively the inner shortcomings and contemporary meanings of this kind of thinking-mode of moral through four aspects of its inner structure, and seeks hard the way to transforming the traditional thinking-mode of moral to the contemporary thinking-mode of moral, finally puts forward the necessity constructing scientifically communism faith.
