Shanghai Local Youth Organizations, Cultivation And Construction

With the development of market economy and society, government organizations control the society less. In all innovations of this era, the most remarkable yet easiest neglected one is the development of NGOs in the world, in which kinds of organizations are important. For China, with the development of market economy and the progress of community, kinds of associations spring, including community youth associations. As informal organizations, community youth associations appear spontaneously according to league's demands. They break through traditional formal organization-the Communist Youth League, become a significant organization in league's spare time and play an increasingly important role in the process of socializations of the minors.However, some community youth associations dismissed at last when they developed well. Thus, in this dissertation, the author pays attention to the community youth associations' effects on the minors, the status quo of developing and running, the relationship between them and the Communist Youth League, and how to cultivate the community youth associations and lead them developing normally, in order, and steadily. In fact, while government's power of controlling the society weakens and the Communist Youth League's management on them weakens, how to distribute the social resources enough to lead the normal development of community youth associations becomes very important. In this dissertation, the author takes Shanghai City as example, uses politics and sociology, and analyzes the above mainly by the relationships between the government, youth associations, and the Communist Youth League by means of questionnaire survey and case study. The dissertation is divided into five parts.In the first part, the author introduces the research object, the background and the purpose.In the second part, the author discussed the value of youth association and the significance of cultivation.In the third part, the author summarizes the status quo of development of youth associations in Shanghai at present according to the questionnaire survey.In the fourth part, the author analyzes the problems in the process of youth associations' development, and discusses the reasons.In the last part, the author brings forward some advice and countermeasures.
