Motor Vehicle Distribution Pattern Analysis And Selection

Automobile industry is very important for social advance and development of national economy. Automobile distribution joins producers and customers, which is an important part of automobile industry. Without efficient automobile distribution system, automobile production is not efficient, and the automobile market is not stable or mature. Various automobile distribution patterns compose automobile distribution system. Automobile distribution pattern decides the efficiency of automobile distribution, and it also affects the development of automobile producers and distributors. So establishing an efficient and scientific automobile distribution pattern is an urgent matter.The determinants in choosing automobile distribution pattern are automobile industry's market structure, the relationship between producers and distributors, transaction costs, national industrial policy lead, the characteristics of product, and technology development etc. I use industrial organization theory and transaction costs theory in this thesis, and analyze the determinants, and the existent reason of various automobile distribution patterns in China and their characteristics and performance. So I reach the conclusion: Brand Monopolized Pattern has the most obvious advantage in various patterns, and it should be the main pattern in China. China should establish efficient automobile distribution system, developing the Brand Monopolized Pattern mainly, and taking other patterns as supplement. Establishing the efficient automobile distribution system not only needs automobile producers choose scientific distribution, but also needs the support of industrial policy, and still needs strengthen the distributors. In the end, I put forward the suggestion on how to establish an efficient automobile distribution system.
