Outskirts Of Large Cities Land Use Structure And Change Mechanisms - Case Of Dalian City

With the rapid process of urbanization, a lot of major cities in our country have already been corresponded been on the way of the evolution suburb of city. When the suburb becomes an independent entity in the city, the interaction of suburb and city is emphasized outstandingly. The area growth of urban land is an inevitable phenomenon of urbanization in any country or region. Constant developments of city cause dynamic and module changes that land is utilized in the suburb of city, and that structure and layout are rearranged and substituted. So long as the development of city is going on, there are great real and social effects of research in land development and utilization in the suburb of city. On the condition of land utilization structure and economic development of suburb at present, this paper, taking Dalian as an example, carries on dynamic omni-directional research in it through analyzing the urban space expands, the rule of development of outskirts industrialization, urbanization and non-agricultural and the relation of the change of structural utilization with regional differentiation and the outskirts land. It reveals the function and influence of the factors, such as the economic development of urban area, population, and industry space shift, transportation improvement, land development and management innovation, to forming land utilization structure. It systematically proves inherent function mechanism that structure of outskirts land utilization is formed. It corrects the blind behaviors that it only paid attention to the economic benefits of developing, and neglected the social and ecological benefits in the land utilization and development of suburb in the past long time. It puts forward to rational measures on sustainable utilization of land in Dalian, and makes efforts to put them into practice .
