The end of the Cold War dismantled the regime barrier that hampered the international economic exchanges and cooperation, providing favorable political environment for globalization; meanwhile, the science and technology advancement, especially the development in information and communication technology, provided powerful drive and solid foundation in material technology for globalization and pushed it to a new phase. The development of globalization resulted in the changes of the environment in China's diplomacy. To adapt to those changes, China began to adopt a series of diplomatic means including economic diplomacy, public diplomacy, and multilateral diplomacy. Nevertheless, no matter how China's diplomacy changes, it always serves one fundamental objective: to further develop and consolidate a peaceful international environment in China's favor, and serve China's domestic strategic objectives. The paper is divided into three chapters. Chapter One defines globalization and analyses its influences. Chapter Two is on the changes of China's diplomacy corresponding to the influences of globalization, that is economic diplomacy, public diplomacy, multilateral diplomacy. Chapter Three analyses the reasons underlying those changes, the problems as globalization develops, and make suggestions for China's diplomacy.
