A new-born thing often can cause the corresponding attention-getting when it occurs. The system of professional manager which runs well in the western capitalism nations, results in not the expectation but the disputation and confusion after being exercised in our country. So, based on the consideration to this problem, the paper regards Chinese family-style enterprises as research objects, studies and analyzes the system of professional manager deeply and draws up the conclusion in the end.In this paper the construction arrangement and the main contents of each part are as the following: The first part, advances the problems to be studied starting with the actual contradicts, and gives the viewpoints of the writer. The second part, introduces the general theories of professional manager, gives out the concepts of the two key phrases in this paper on the foundation of the numerous scholars' standpoints and defines the scope, reviews summarily the emergence, development and perfect of the system of professional manager in the western capitalism nations, and describes the status and characteristics of professional managers in the business enterprises that have the mature system of professional manager. The third part, shows and analyzes the present condition and the facing predicament of the family-style enterprises in our country, reviews the emergence and development history of the professional manager in China, describes in detail the performances of the system which is defective in Chinese family-style enterprises through large quantity of facts. The forth part, according to the facts and problems showed above, expatiates on the five causes why in Chinese family-style enterprises the system of professional manager is defective by the ways of System Economics. This is the emphasis and main creative part of the paper. The fifth part, emphasizes and describes the standpoint of the writer based on large quantity of facts and analysis, shows that it is because the system of professional manager is in the early developing stage in China and its own characteristics of Chinese family-style enterprises that results in the defective of the system.. With the development of the economy, the system of professional manager will get perfect gradually.
