An important characteristics in knowledge economic time is that knowledge team has more comparative value to organizations because of knowledge employees possessing large proportion in organizations. It's difficult for traditional performance management views and methods to meet the necessities of knowledge team performance management in such a knowledge economic time.Firstly, this paper briefly reviews the traditional performance management theories and methods, especially the theories gap when it is used in knowledge team management. Then the author use methodologies based on mature economics theory and other scientific theories to discuss some questions of knowledge team performance management that usually occur in organizations presently, and put forward relevant ways to solve them.Finally, through a consulting case of my tutor's research to a organization which I participated in, the author do a further empirical analysis to the theory and actual problems in knowledge team performance management.
