The Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) is a multi-criteria decision-making method that combines qualitative analysis with quantitative analysis. Its key step is to establish judgment matrices and get priority vectors for objects to be compared from them. When a decision maker experiences uncertainty, he prefers to express each judgment with intervals of numerical value and express pairwise comparisons matrix with interval judgment matrix. Up to now, as to priority algorithms of interval judgment matrix, it has been developed twenty kinds. And many new algorithms are still brought forward continually. The paper sums up the existing priority methods of interval judgment matrix and classifies them into two categories: approximate algorithm and optimization algorithm. And the paper compares synthetically algorithms in theory and application. By investigating concepts of region and regional economy, the paper establishes the regional economy index system, and then uses AHP to compare economy of thirteen cities in Jiangsu province, IEM is adopted in computation of the priority of interval judgment matrices.
