Bigamy Difficult To Study

Today, the phenomenon of bigamy in china turns up increasingly and has brought about some unsteadiness to the whole society. Evidently, it will not only affect the stability of a family, but can give a rise to a number of crimes.The relationships between men and women concerning bigamy often show up as different types, yet our current laws lack specific explanations for the crime of bigamy. On this ground, a good host of issues need for discussions.This article tries to study the problems relevant to Chinese crime of bigamy on the basis of combining theories and practices. It consists of seven parts and from the discussion of each part, we can see that at present the regulations of Chinese laws and legal practices regarding bigamy or the crime of it are far from perfect. The whole system of Chinese Marriage Law is insufficient in integrity and unity, or even has some internal conflicts. This has added more difficulties to the legal practices and now, whether to keep the bigamy as a crime or not even became an issue of argument. Therefore, the author of this article endeavors to put forward a few personal opinions for the pertinent laws and seeks to throw light on some practical problems.
