To adapt to the sharply growing need of container throughput and trend of container vessels becoming bigger and bigger, leading container ports in the world are all strenuously building a set of large container terminalSo In these newly-built terminals or ones of being built, a new modern handling technology appears one after the other, that is automated terminaL Because it can bring more efficient working rate and lower man-caused accidents to the minimum, recent years more and more terminals have already constructed or are going to construct automated terminaLIn the beginning of 2003, the second phase of WaiGaoqiao terminal in Shanghai port determined to construct a automated yard of empty container, and this will be the first automated yard in our country. It will not only innovate the handling technology of inland terminals, but also direct automatization of the container terminal for the future .It's a new job to construct automated yard, and there are many things to solve, one is how to select automated handling equipments?In equipments of having been automated, RTG has been used in our terminals for a long time and workers have mastered much experience about it, but the effect of automatization is not ideal; for RMG and HOC, although their automatization effects are good, they have not been used in our country, judging them only by experience of overseas terminals.. To solve this question, this paper select multi-level fuzzy synthetical evaluation to conclude mathematic model of selecting adapted handling equipment for the automated yard of our container terminalSoFirstly introduce the definition of the automated container yard, illuminate factors of constructing automatization with the cases of overseas automated container terminals, and compare it with our cases in container terminals to point out our prospect of automatization ?Then mainly introduce the types ofhandling equipments in automated yard and the applications of automated technology in these equipments On the basis of these, apply theory of multi-level fuzzy synthetical evaluation to sum up the maths model of selection of handling equipment in automated yard in our container terminals, and program with Matlab to achieve this mode and analyse the sensitivity of the evaluating indexes Finally with the case of empty container yard in the second phase of WaiGaoqiao in Shanghai port, illuminate the application of multi-level fuzzy synthetical evaluation in practical production?Proved by practice, the type of equipment model concluded is the one WaiGaoqiao finally choosed, what's more, windowed model is approved by involved specialists and workerso It will give other terminals decision support for selecting equipments in the futureZhao Hongguang (Management Science and Engineering)Directed by Mi Weijian...
