Internet is coming, coming into our life, coming into our mind and finally coming into our legislation. It's the binary digit technology that violently trembles the basis of traditional copyright law, and whichproduces a fashionable word-"cyber copyright". Having offered anin-depth discussion on the "three principles of copyright", we can draw a conclusion that our existing copyright law still can apply to the cyberspace after some amendments on network were provided.Besides the preface mentioned above, the whole paper consists of 5 chapters, with approximate 43,000 words in aggregate.Chapter 1 eyes on the new subjects and objects in cyber copyright, this part gives some criterion to cyber work and divides the object into two types, and then analyses 5 kinds cyber works one by one.Chapter 2 is the core of this thesis. Stemming from the characters of cyberspace, some new protected contents emerge: the right of communicating to the public, the protection of technical measure (TM) and the protection of rights management information. Among these, TM is the focus we concerned. Defining TM must ensure equilibrium between different benefits in copyright domain. The article provides 4 necessary constitutes of TM and discusses the legal attribute of TM with comparing the law of some representative countries and international treaties, for instance, DMCA, WCT, WPPT and so forth.Through some detailed historic and economic analyses, chapter 3 holds that under the present environment of the internet, the utilization of the copyright by the public should be extended in its scope; and means that the public should have a wider range of rights to duplicate the cyber work recourses through the rule of fair use, though the rights of the public to recast the works in the internet shall be restrained.Chapter 4 is made up of two sections. One summarizes the situation of our existing copyright managing regulations and introduces the challenges to the collective administration (CA).
