Economic Growth In Henan Province Quality Empirical Research

Economic growth is the topic with which every country and region are universally concerned. From classical theories of economic growth put forward by Quesnay, Adam. Smith and Ricardo to modern western economic growth theories put forward by Harrod-Domar, Solow and Neo-Cambridge School, and to New Economic Growth Theory put forward by Romer, Lucas and other economists introducing human capital into the model, all these dramatically enrich the pool of economic growth theories and provide theoretic direction for the economic growth of countries all over the world. With the continual growth of economy, social and environmental problems brought by rapid economic growth gradually become the focus of people's attention. This is the problem of economic growth quality. In 2003, the Outline of Constructing Comparatively Well off Society in Full Scale put by the committee and government of Henan province not only put forward requirement on the speed of economic growth but also put forward requirement on the quality of economic growth. Therefore, the thesis chooses the quality of economic growth in Henan province as researching project.As the works and articles on the quality of economic growth are very limited, it has not formed an unified understanding on the quality of economic growth and its measuring system of indices. But they are the bases of the thesis. So, firstly, the thesis adds personal opinions on the base of summing up previous opinions in order to explain the connotation of economic growth quality in all aspects and makes the measuring system of index in every angle. This is a beneficial attempt to enrich the theory of economic growth quality.Using 22 indices in 8 aspects such as speed of economic growth, economic structure, economic benefit, stability of economic growth, progress in science and technology and so on. The results show that the quality of economic growth in Henan province should be improved.Aiming at the problems of economic growth quality in Henan province, the thesis analyzes the cause from 4 aspects (history, structure, input of factors and enterprise). Based on the analysis, it puts forward according policy advice.
