On The Urban Development Strategy Planning Theories And Methods

Today, in the period of high level economic development and high-speed urbanization, strategy planning of city development is an effective pattern on city planning which emerges at the time modern cities develop tremendously．Based on the theories of urban geography, regional economic geography, urban economics and development economics, and referencing the domestic and overseas theories and experiments of practices about the urban region ,this paper synthetically researches the basic theories and programs of strategy planning of city development and designs the planning programs. This paper first analyzes the existing practice of strategy planning of city development in China and use for reference and comparison with practice of strategy planning of city development in different area. The paper concludes and develops some primary and common knowledge contained in all strategy planning of city development, the content frame practices depth on research of strategy planning of city development, the inward logic and technique solutions to the research of strategy planning of city development, and so on. Based on previous work, the paper gives further research on the potential developing foreground and the program of strategy planning of city development. The paper also points out those defects in drawing-up methods of present strategy planning of city development and proposes a feasible program.
