H Commercial Bank Credit Management Research

With the development of commercial banks, the risk control of credit is always an important issue in the banks' operation. The Line of Credit management is an important mean in banks' risk control. The credit risk of the banks depend on whether the Line of Credit management decision is right or not, which determines the survival and stability of the banks.This thesis is justified in undertaking the research in the risks of the Line of Credit in H commercial bank for following reasons: although the bank has witnessed great development since it went listed in securities market, yet it use the traditional method in the Line of Credit management, therefore, it is a potential deficiency in the risk control. We all know that the credit business is a driving force of the banks' businesses. To improve the credit quality supplies a guarantee to commercial banks' future stable development. Thus, it is significant to decrease the bad credit, improve the Line of Credit management and enhance the risk control.This thesis described content and basic principles of Line of Credit Management firstly; then, analyzed the current situation of the Line of Credit management in H commercial bank, pointed out the disadvantages of present methods and put forward my assessment and views. Finally I extended an explorative study on sensible methods in the Line of Credit management.The conclusion of the thesis: firstly, it is vital to strengthen the management and control of the credit risks to commercial banks. Secondly, the bank should improve its internal control and strengthen people's awareness of risk control. Finally, technical measures should be adopted to improve the system of the Line of Credit management.
