On The Role Of Anti-corruption Education And Countermeasures

It is the only way for China to realize the great rejuvenation of the Chinese Nation to implement the reform, opening to the outside world and the socialism market economy; however, during this process, different negative and effete thoughts will take advantage of the weak points, which will lead directly to the growing of corruption in the Communist Party of China. Corruption is an archenemy of the people and an archenemy of the Party. It is corruption that can furthest easily diminish the governing foundation of the Party, play down the governing capability and shaking the governing footing. Therefore, the anti-corruption campaign is at present an important political mission challenging the Party. It is a complex systematic project. Besides improving the system arrangement and the supervision linkages to combat corruption and build a clean government, it is necessary to enhance the corruption combating and clean government building education from the angle of ideological and political education. It is of important realistic significance and far-reaching historical influence for reinforcing the Party building and the socialism regime, boosting the socialism modernization building with Chinese characteristics to, with the guidance of the important thoughts of Three Represents, strengthen the ideological education of corruption combating and clean government building, recognize and exert sufficiently the position and influence of the corruption combating and clean government building education in the anti-corruption campaign and prevent from and hold back any corruption atmosphere.This paper, targeting at the atmosphere of "stressing the system but despising the education" in the corruption combating and clean government building practice, focuses on the level of the ideological and political education to enhance the corruption combating and clean government building. In the first part, with the identification of the basic connotation and the essential characteristics of the corruption and the corruption in the Party, the sources of thoughts generating the corruption in the Party is analyzed profoundly from the angle of the historical tradition and the foreign thoughts and cultures, the angle of the values and the aspects such as the moral degeneration under the civilization conflicts and the human natures of interest-seeking and selfishness. In the second part, on the basis of the internalenvironment of the corruption combating and clean government building education in the Party, including the characteristics and development trend of the anti-corruption strategy as well as the connotation and characteristics of the corruption combating and clean government building, emphasized are the basic functions of the corruption combating and clean government building education, including the directing function, the inspiriting function, the alarming function, the regulative function and the normalizing function. Also pointed out is the objective performance and practical revelation of the corruption combating and clean government building education. In the third part, the primary countermeasures from four aspects are put forward for the corruption combating and clean government building education in the new era.
