In the Activity of world economy, advanced foreign enterprise havelong ago understood the importance of purchasing process. They madeuse of advanced purchasing process to bring about huge economic benefitand profit. But the research on purchasing process is still weak in China.Unreasonable purchasing process seriously impairs the credit ofManufacturing Enterprise. Combined with the theory of Business ProcessReengineering (BPR), the thesis probes into Procurement ProcessReengineering, and tries to enhance the core competitiveness ofManufacturing Enterprise. The thesis is divided into five chapters: In chapter one, the thesis analyzes the advantage of ChineseManufacturing and points out procurement process reengineering has gotmore and more recognition in manufacturing enterprise. In chapter two,the thesis introduces the basic theory of BPR, discusses the mainprinciples of BPR. In chapter three, the thesis analyzes the problems inprocurement process. Long procurement cycle and high procurement costhave puzzled many manufacturing enterprises in China. In chapter four,the thesis studies the objects of procurement process reengineering andthe strategy of implementation. The objects include the performance ofprocurement cycle, procurement quality, procurement cost. The strategyof implementation bases on the supply chain management, insists thesymbiosis with the procurement sources. The last past of the thesisstudies two cases of Chinese manufacturing enterprises.
