Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs), under the present conditions of economic globalization and localization, play an important role in China's national economy, and even become a mainstay in the achievement of export. This thesis, based on the related theories of SMEs and international trade, gives a profound analysis of the SMEs' great impact, especially their advantages and beneficial effects on China's export trade, and thus the conclusion is made that the immediate significance of the expansion of SMEs can fully attained for China's sustainable development in export, and even the whole economy. Meanwhile, this thesis also analyzes the factors that set limitation to the expansion of SMEs and thus puts forward the strategies at macroscopic, intermediate and microscopic levels to promote China's SMEs export expansion on the basis of the SMEs' experience of many other areas and countries.
