| The transformation of legal system of CHina began in the legal reform carried out at the end of Qing Dynasty when the continental legal system was transferred to China, paving the ground for legal system of recent China. The Temporary Nanjing Government of Republic of China created a system of democratic and republic laws bassed on the laws of western capitalists. The Beiyang government also introduced western law system to enforce its rule. The legal transform of China is carried out according to its special political, economic and cultural conditions. The author aims at a discussion of the source, features and effects of the recent legal transformation of China, and makes new concept for current legal transformation of China by considering the legal transformation in Japan. |
