Exception To The Rule Of Wto Study

The Exceptions possess the major place in the WTO law. Studying the Exceptions is profoundly important to protect the domestic industries and market. Starting from the introduction of the legal connotation of the Exceptions, the author systematically discusses the specification, the prerequisites, the principal obligations in regard to the Exceptions by means of analyzing the law clauses, including the Exceptions to the Principles, the Exceptions to the Balance of payments, the Safeguard measures, the General Exceptions, the Security Exceptions, and the preferential treatments for the developing countries and the most undeveloped countries. Based on the above, the author analyzes the acknowledgement of the Exceptions in the domestic laws, and then puts forward the strategies of application of the Exceptions in China.
