Right on the ground is a kind of the formulation of the old real right. How to set up the usufruct system has already become the hottest topic. This text investigates to history tracing to the source and modern development of the right on the ground. Also it summarizes the content of system of the right on the ground. The purpose of this thesis is that usufruct system of our country should contain the right on the ground or not. This thesis has been divided into three major parts. The first part is to introduce the origin of the right on the ground and to compare the main content the relevant right on the ground of the American with the French land system. Furthermore, it expounds present situation of the right on the ground and its development at the contemporary society. The second part is about the outline and content of the system of the right on the ground. It Includes the ranges of the rights on the ground, the way how to get, the comparison of the correlated right on the ground, validity of the right on the ground, dealing with the relationship between the land and building on the ground. Eventually, the author proposes that bring the system of the right on the ground into the usufruct system of our country ,thereby make our country usufruct system harmonious and perfect.
