The paper compared and analyzed the thoughts of human nature of Confucius, Mencius, LaoTzu, HsunTzu and HanFeiTzu those were several representative figures of the Pre-Chin Period of China. We conclude: Confucius and Mencius' thoughts Contained more "self-actualization", they admitted the satisfactions of "the physiological needs", but they more paid attention that how to deal with the relations between individuals and realization of moral ideal and rising of moral level in the course of satisfaction of desire. LaoTzu separated "Stomach" from" Eyes "according to the reality of the philosophy and political rule, develop a peculiar thought of human nature. As to Hsun and Han, the relations of the benefit coexistence of individuals tended to impossibility and replaced by the competition of individuals, and less "self-actualization". For the cause of socialism modernization, want to realize the modernization of ideal of human and value ideal of human, need the modernization of the social and economic conditions and need also the communications of the Chinese-Foreign cultures, and need to absorb the foreign superior theories and value theories. Confucius and Mencius' the theory of human nature and human morality ideal combine with Maslow's theory, is one of the best fundamental materials of the traditional culture of China, We should inherit and enhance with criticize it.
