On The Influence Of American Interest Group In The US China Policy

Nowadays, interest groups, which affect the decision of American domestic and foreign policies directly or indirectly, are indispensable parts of American democracy. After the Cold War, the social contradiction becomes sharper and more complicated as the society has made great progress. With the development of American government's multiplex and dispersant, the interest groups who advocate the realization of personal interest are being pushed into the main part of American politics. The interest groups have significant influence on American decision of diplomacy and emphasize on the relationship between China and America. The interest groups affect the government and the congress on formulating policies on china at right moments, even guide the tendency, and add an unstable factor to Sino-US relations .The case of PNTR truly reflected the action of the interest groups. Therefore, it has great and profound meaning that we study American groups systematically and explore the correlation. Specifically, based on the basic theoretical problems which we have researched deeply the political environment of American group, the type, behavior patterns, idiographic representation and etc, we analyze the PNTR. After that, we grasp the practical influence of the interest groups theoretically and practically, understand the intimate relation between interest groups and American policies on china, realize that American interest groups are one kind of inherent factors in stabilizing and developing the friendly relationship between China and America. It's more important that non-government organization will act the key role in the future. Therefore, we should pay attention to each group and propose the second kind of diplomacy for the practical requirement when we deal with the Sino-US relations.
