Discussion On Informatization Of Ideological And Political Work

Due to the vigorous development of informationalization, the change of value orientation and thinking modes of the people have taken on a tendency of increasing diversification and complication. This makes the ideological and political work in the new era to be in a more open environment and more difficult. On the one hand, it provides a hard-won opportunity for the innovative development of the ideological and political work, which is embodied as follows: the extremely abundant information resource enriches the content system of the ideological and political work; the rapidly changing information technology updates the instruments and measures of the ideological and political work; the extensively spread information network expands the coverage of the ideological and political work; the instant information communication improves the effectiveness of the ideological and political work. On the other hand, it brings forward severe challenges to the ideological and political work, which are material as follows: from the perspective of the modes of the ideological and political work, the traditional mode can not be applicable against the requirements of the social development in the informatization era; as for the subject of the ideological and political work, the share of information resource and the amount increase of information challenges the information technology applying quality of the ideological and political operators; from the perspective that the thinking of the object of the ideological and political work possesses the diversified, selective and differential characteristics, the leading and control of the public opinion becomes increasingly complicated; from the perspective of the new tasks of the ideological and political work, it is urgent to foster the network civilization.For the purpose of seizing the opportunities and responding to the challenges, occupying the new battleground of information network in the ideological and political work, grasping firmly the initiation of the ideological and political work in the information network, endeavoring to start a new phase of the ideological and political work in the informatization era, it is necessary to keep up with the steps in the informatization era, focus on the better and more efficient realization and exert of the"lifeline"status and functions of the Party's ideological and political work in the informatization era. With the open mind and developing vision, the positive attitudes of tending toward the advantages and avoiding any disadvantages for our own sake shall be adopted to accelerate the information transmission speed and accuracy of the ideological and political work, to make use of the modern information technologies to establish an efficient information network system to realize as soon as possible the track connecting and amalgamating with the modern information technologies for landing on the"information highway"by the information express to advance gradually the informatization process of the ideological and political work.This paper starts from the response to the informatization impact. Through the analysis on the opportunities and challenges brought forward by the informatization to the ideological and political work, the author elaborates that the realization of the informatization of the ideological and political work is to conform to the necessity of the history development trend and penetrates to discuss the origin, concepts and system connotation of the informatization of ideological and political work. Based on the deep thinking over the current development, the author puts forward the countermeasures for the informatization of the ideological and political work from four levels, that is, the ideology and consciousness, the resource building, the system guarantee and the subject's quality.
