As the principal part of this world and the basic element of all value system in the human society, the inner world of natural person should definitely be paid more attention by law. We have to admit that Chinese legislation about compensation of nonpecuniary loss had been fitting in with the international trend and domestic legislative development. However, in the term of legislation, none provision in China identifies that the liability for breach of contract (LBC) can also be applied in the case of the liability for nonpecuniary loss compensation (LNLC). And whether LNLC is a kind of LBC or not has been a disputed issue for a long time. Then can we conclude that LBC certainly not includes LNLC? Or can we affirm that there is not any relation between LBC and LNLC? This article attempts to demonstrate the possibility of that LNLC is a part of LBC, and it is necessary that LBC undertakes the obligation of NLC.
