Korean-japanese Relations And East Asian Integration

East Asian integration is one of the performances of the regional economyintegration trend in today's world. Comparatively, European Union's integrative degreeis very high. Other homogeneous organization is too far behind to catch up with it. Ithas achieved successes in economy that have attracted worldwide attention. China hasalready enjoyed the benefits of the economic globalization. If china wants to enjoyhealthy and faster development in economy, it must speed up the progress of East Asianintegration. But, among three important countries: China and Korea and Japan, Therehave two contradictions: contradiction between China and Japan, and contradictionbetween Korea and Japan. Specially, contradiction between Korea and Japan stands outin bold relief. So, the purposes of this paper's study are studying contradiction betweenKorea and Japan, and the interaction between it and the East Asian integration, andfinding a model which use the multilateral cooperation to solve the bilateralcontradiction.The purpose of this paper is dealing with these problems. It supported byneorealism theory, and neoliberalism theory, and constructivism theory. The maintargets of this study are the relation between Korea and Japan and East Asian integration.It based on a deeper analysis of the relation between Korea and Japan. It did ainnovative and exploratory research, and introducing a model which use the multilateralcooperation to solve the bilateral contradiction.The main contents of this paper are:1. Used comprehensive interpretation model, and made an analysis of the causeof the relation between Korea and Japan, and explained the cause which disturbed theinteraction between politics and economy.2. Introduced the current situation of East Asian integration, and analyzed theinfluence from the relation between Korea and Japan to East Asian integration inpolitics and economy and culture.3. Analyzed the special promotion from East Asian integration to the relationbetween Korea and Japan, and introducing a model which uses the multilateral cooperation to solve the bilateral contradiction.This paper used comprehensive interpretation model, and made a completeanalysis of the relation between Korea and Japan in East Asian, and pointed out thateconomy is given a priority in East Asian integration, and analyzed the benigninteraction between the relation between Korea and Japan and East Asian integration,and pointed out that this interaction will be able to become the example of using themultilateral cooperation to solve the bilateral contradiction.
