Aggravated robbery, a special form of robbery, seriously threatening the safety of people's lives and property, has always been a key target for strike by criminal laws in all countries. Disputes arise in determination of aggravated robbery because of its particularity and the greater harm it causes to the people. Therefore, emphasizing the research into theories relating to aggravated robbery is necessary to assure the proper application of The Criminal Law and suiting punishment to crime.In this paper, the writer talked about different types of aggregated robbery, analyzed them and explained the necessity of theoretical research in this field. The writer, in accordance with current judicial interpretation, mainly discussed burglary, robbery on public vehicles, and GHB or death caused by robbery, emphasizing on the purpose of the law on burglary, characteristics of burglary, and conversion from burglary or fraud to robbery. As for robbery on public vehicles, the writer, in accordance with the original purpose of legislation and relative judicial interpretation as well as features of public vehicles, talked about converted crimes of robbery on public vehicles, and thought that such robberies should not be deemed as robbery on public vehicles when they take place on those vehicles during the nonworking period and when there are only drivers and workers on them. On GHB or death caused by robbery, the writer discussed and put forward his own opinion on distinguishing and deciding the three forms of crimes, i.e. intentional killing during the robbery, intentional killing of witnesses after robbery and stealing of victims' properties after killing.The writer believes that accomplished and unaccomplished crimes are also involved in aggregated robbery and new standards for punishment should be set.
