In recent years Hewitt Associates begin to award the special honour of "The bestemployer in Asia", and the major measure index is the engagement score ofenterprise' employee. The practice field is paying more and more attention to thecondition of employee engagement while academic circles have made a deep study ofthe related issue of engagement. After a survey of the work-engagement andjob-person fit designed on 214 employees in IT industry, this research verified theproposed three dimensional model of work engagement, and probed into the effect onwork engagement by job-person fit and and it's approach, and put forwardcorresponding resolution to help companies promote their engagement level.The research reveals that the three dimensional model is not only applicable tothe related research in abroad organizations, but also applicable to the employees ofIT industry, in our country which can be used for future research in other relatedfields. As a result, the research found that values-fit,fairness-fit,control-fit andrewards-fit have a direct effects on work-engagement, and the workload-fit andcommunity-fit have a indirect effects on work-engagement.The above findings have great significance for guidance and practical value onexploiting and promoting employee engagement furtherly for companies. Companiescan use such information through adopting value-oriented incentive, constructingmore equitable organization atmosphere, realizing a human-oriented managementpattern, reinforcing the changing of leader's management roles these four approachesto make some valuable thinking on human resources practice, such as organizationtransformation, cultural construction, environment development, conflict management,relationship management, etc., and enhance competitiveness.
