Conjunction of institution of confinement with investigation refers to floorboard of all kinds of actions of supervision organs of public security which in order to working in conjunction with investigation, and to take advantage of the institution of confinement, setting the institution of confinement as main body ,taking the education of institution of confinement and criminal technology ,information and so on as carrier under the choragus of the public security organ in accordance with the legal process. It aims to provide service and conjunction for investigating organs in their assaulting fortified positions and breakthroughs mastering the specified suspicious timely and generally.This article can be divided into three sections. It systemically observes the outlines of conjunction of institution of confinement, the implementing and the standardization of the conjunction of institution of confinement respectively. Firstly, this article emphasizes on the conceptions of places of custody, cooperation with criminal investigation and conjunction of institution of confinement, it addresses the feature of conjunction of institution of confinement as well as the connections and differences between conjunction of institution of confinement and investigation through network, and technical investigation, and investigation within prison. At the same time, the advantage of conjunction of institution of confinement has also been discussed, and the history of conjunction of institution of confinement has been introduced. The feasibility and necessity of conjunction of institution of confinement have been addressed in this section. Secondly, in the second part concerning the implementation of conjunction of institution of confinement, the compound of supervision and education, the informers in places of custody, the test of the mark of criminal psychology, sniffing and monitoring, special inquest and command of hearing, secret identification, imprisonment in different places, the construction of information of conjunction of institution of confinement etc. have been mainly discussed through cases. It gives the assumption of the 'big investigation' of the integration of investigation. Thirdly, the restrictions which the conjunction of institution of confinement has been suffered currently and the concrete measures of standardization of it has been mainly discussed in this section.
