The Credibility Of Local Government In Contemporary China Research

The public trust of government appears as an important concept which measures the situation and the degree of the government credit. The public trust of government embodies the public's subjective appraise to the government behavior and the government officials. The more the public believe in the government, the stronger the government has a high degree of public credit. On the contrary, the less the public believe in the government, the weaker the government has a low degree of public credit. The degree of the public trust of government is interested in the enrichment of credit resource which is occupied by the government , and the image of the government. And as rare political resource that exists objectively but ambiguously, the public trust of government plays an important role in the social credit systems. Therefore, as the central government's executive to operate state power, to carry out nation will and to administrate affairs, the building of the public trust of the local government is very important. Research on the public trust of the local government has the theoretical and the practical significance.The whole thesis is divided into five parts:The first part is introduction of the thesis. In this part, the author firstly proposes this thesis' studies background and significance, summarizes the present study on the public trust of the local government by the domestic and foreign Scholars and western administrative reform practice, and in the end of this part the author also indicates the possible innovation and insufficient about this study.In the second part, the author elaborates the meaning of the public trust of government. Then this thesis presents itself definition of the public trust of local government. After that, this thesis refers to the particularity of the public trust of local government contemporary.The thesis analyzes the present situation of the public trust of the local government in the third part of the thesis. Generally speaking, the level of the public trust of local government is quite high, but some attenuated tendency of the public trust of the local government becomes common in our society. In the last paragraph of this part, it also discusses the importance of building the public trust of the local government.The fourth part is the core of this thesis. First, this thesis supplies the target system of the public trust of the local government, such as the stability of the local government policy,the morality of the government officials and so on. In the last paragraph of this part, it also discusses the importance of building the public trust of the local government. Then the author refers to 2 things happened recently to confirm the conclusion, finally this thesis presents the author's opinion based on the investigation on the strategy of enforcing the public trust of the local government.In the last part of this thesis, the author forecasts the study on the public trust of the local government.
