| This article chooses the legal education of china which under the circumstance of modernization of legal system as the theme. It concerns on the character of the international classic model of legal education, the development of the legal education in China, the object of legal education and the value of the legal education, etc. Aiming for the leading shortcoming in the model of legal education in China, the text suggests the elementary progressive thread in the model of legal education in the 21st century. The basic structure of this article is composed by 4 parts as follows: 1,legal education and the modernization of legal system; 2, the development and the status quo of western legal education in the progress of the modernization of legal system; 3, the historic development of legal education of china in the progress of the modernization of legal system;4, the modern challenge of legal education.The first part explains two concepts, which are modernization of legal system and legal education. After comparing the two concepts, we introduce the general idea of legal profession, so to give a further analysis of the two concepts above and show clearly the special request to the legal education. By comparing the international classic model of legal education, the second part of the text discusses the unique historic and cultural background of each country, especially the legal education models of USA, Britain and Japan, then sums up their advantages in the purpose of learning and absorbing. We should realize that although the western model can be guidance to our view of values to some degree in developing the legal education of our state, we still face many new challenges that come from knowledge economic, sustainable development and globalization. The third part mainly looks back the historic development of legal education of China, as well as the status quo of legal education in our country. In order to understand the Chinese contemporary legal education, we need to grasp and know about its history. So as to further testify its advantages and disadvantages, we must acquaint ourselves with its status. The fourth chapter mainly discusses the disadvantages in the Chinese contemporary legal education. Based on the comparing and valuing in the former three parts, this chapter mentions some advices about how to remove the crisis that in our system of legal education from the macroscopic and microscopic view.Legal education is a professional education that provides with humane science, legal knowledge and professional skills to those legal professionals, so to build a crowd of legal profession which is highly specialized and assimilated, and make their unique contribution to the object of rule of law ,as well as the modernization of legal system of our state. |
