Sexual harassment in the workplace has become one of the most complicated and hot issue now.How to analyze the reason why it happens so often in compliance with local condition,search for relative examples we can learn from other countries,select adaptable legislative mode and find direction of law reform,and so forth,are the projects needed to be considered urgently.This thesis includes preface,main text and conclusion.The preface points out the seriousness and necessaries of studying the sexual harassment in the workplace.The first part of the text shows the current situations of sexual harassment in the workplace,displays the difficulties of judicature and reasons.The second part of the body exhibits the different legislation of coping with sexual harassment in the work place based on the comparison between United States,European Union and Taiwan,and some valuable advices to China.According to the analysis of two current legislative mode and characters of sexual harassment in the workplace,the third part probes into the defects and explains the rationality and feasibility of legislation.The last part discusses the direction of legislation in reform of sexual harassment in the workplace.Several key points of legislation,the employer's preventable responsibility,setting up the internal approaches of appeal and disciplined methods,and mediation procedure are fundamental matters to be focused.In the conclusion,the author demonstrates the obligation and function of different subjects of sexual harassment in the workplace and prospects for tomorrow.
