Yan Fu Modern National Moral Personality Thought

Yan Fu is a famous bourgeois enlightenment thinker and educator in modern China. And the research in Yan Fu's thoughts has been a priority of China's modern thought studies, while Yan Fu's moral thought research is also the hot spot of Yan Fu national character thought and the modern enlighten thought research. But Academic circle research to Yan Fu's moral thought has mainly focused on his"three people"thought and education thought , for the idea of moral personality still lack expertise to conduct in-depth theory study. So this article attempts to explore Yan Fu's modern national moral personality pattern in the modernity and under the liberalism theory frame, and analyze Yan Fu about the value conflict thought.The first part of this article, begin with analyzing Yan Fu criticizing tradition morality personality, expounds Yan Fu's viewpoint about the new moral personality's necessity and urgent. The Second part combs and analyzes Yan Fu's thought about four stratification planes of modern national moral personality pattern: Cognition conformity structure, power structure, guidance structure and regulation structure. Part three explores the ways to realize modern national moral personality, including system transforms, China and the West moral resources and education. Last part carries on the ponder to the value of Yan Fu's thought about modern national moral personality.
