Dworkin Equality Concept To Explore

Dworkin is a famous American Egalitarian philosopher in the 20th century. His thought has a significant impact on society and the construction of the contemporary concept of equality. So, this article attempts to do a serious and deep analysis about Dworkin's theory of equality, in order to further identify and solve our current problem of equal construction ,so as to provide a reference.In the book , Dworkin claimed that the core of the thought is about equality rather than freedom. So, this article is primarily about his idea of equality. His theory of justice was proposed when the United States is very acute contradictions in society. So, Dworkin's theory study can not be separated from the background and theory of the premise. Therefore, the first chapter of this paper will explain briefly the basis of Dworkin's theory of equality. The Second and the third chapter are the focus of this article, providing an overview of the specific connotations of equality and my thinking about the gains and losses of his theory. First, Dworkin believes that his idea of equality is built on two basic principles of individualism . In this foundation on the both basic principles, how can we achieve equal concern and respect for it? Dworkin believes that the market should be adopted as a means in economics, and for that , he built the "equality of resources" model to explain how to achieve equality in the market distribution. And in the politics, he believes that constitutional democracy should be adopted. Of course, there is rationality and limitations about his theory. Then this paper will discuss separately from two aspects about the gains and losses of Dworkin's theory of equal. In chapter IV according to the practice, combining Dworkin's equality theory and contemporary of the actual situation in China, the article discusses the use of his theory for us.In the current circumstances of economic globalization, How should we be able to achieve an equal distribution. As a representative of the United States neo-liberalism , Dworkin's equality concept is worth for considering. In this article, I will reflect on Dworkin's theory. So as to draw colleagues consider.
