China's continued strong balance of payments surplus, which is leading to a rapid increase in foreign exchange reserves along with the continuous development of China's economy. Deadline to the first quarter of 2009, China's foreign exchange reserves has been up to nearly two trillion U.S. dollars. At the same time, the dollar has been the devaluation compared to RMB rapidly, and also the domestic capital is looking for the world investment stage, so China Investment Co., Ltd. has had a response to this era.As a sovereign wealth fund, China Investment Company related to any investment activity overseas, particularly in the United States, will be not only concerned by the federal government, the United States Congress, civil society and other aspects, but also by the domestic and the pressure of public opinion, It is the basic to come to understand the United States law especially with regard to the national security of foreign investment, antitrust, market access and other laws and regulations pertaining to investment affair if want to enter the United States market. This paper attempts to research the United States'laws and regulations in term of investment, as well as analysis the several investment cases of China Investment Co., in the United States. This paper hopes to make some contribution to domestic enterprises that wish develop in the United States even on the global stage.
