As the government's assistant in the field of humane relief, the Red Cross Society plays an important role in constructing our harmonious society. Surrounding the above main lead, from the angle of the 3 fundamental principles—"Humanity, Fraternity and Dedication", the thesis analyses the consistency between the connotation of harmonious society and the spirit of Red Cross Society, discusses the role of the Red Cross Society to the development of harmonious society as a social organization; From the angle of the transformation of government role and increase of public demand, the thesis expatiates on the factors that restrict the exertion of the Red Cross Society operation; From the angle of enhancing the ability for the Red Cross Society to participate in the construction of harmonious society, the thesis brings forward the advice to exert more functions of the Red Cross Society. Chapter 4, from the angle of the transformation of government role and increase of public demand, the chapter expatiates on the factors that restrict the exertion of the Red Cross Society operation.Chapter 5, this chapter puts forward the work of the Red Cross Society under the guidance of the scientific outlook on development, gives advices for the RedCross Society to play a better role.
