In 2001, George Walker Bush became the President of the United States. In September 11, 2001, "9·11" event happened. This event, profound changes the trend of the U.S foreign policy. U.S African policy is also influenced deeply.This article mainly expounds the U.S African policy of the Bush administration from the political, military, economic, and social four aspects. In the political aspect, the Bush administration changed the disregard attitude in the early stage to Africa; strengthen the connection between Africa and America, and through the establishment of Africa Command to strengthen the existence of America in Africa. In the military aspect, the Bush administration deepened the U.S. military influence in Africa under the name of the war on terror. In the economy aspect, the United States promote AGOA to strengthen the economic and trade relationship between Africa and America. In the social aspects, the Bush administration through paying close attention to the AIDS and malaria in Africa to deepen the "soft power" of the United States.This article thought, the U.S African policy's change, is still based on America's strategy interest and nation's demand. Africa itself has not really become the focus of U.S foreign strategy.
