| Along with social progress and technological development the modus operandi of criminals becomes more complex, intelligent and professional. Hence, the inspection of of the material composition which left behind by criminals due to neglect becomes even more important - on-site gas composition inspection is one of the most important but often overlooked components. At present, on-site gas composition inspection mainly focuses on certain substances and the main purpose is to determine the whether there is such substances, not the composition of those substances. Gas Chromatography Method, with mature technology, wide-ranged applicability, high isolation rate and high sensitivity may be an ideal choice for on-site gas composition inspection. According to the specialty of on-site conditions, this thesis suggests a new model of Gas Chromatography Method and take the application of portable gas chromatograph apparatus for instance– to justify the application of this method through experiment. This thesis also concludes the problems and deficiencies and then presents the suggestions for improvements and attentions.This thesis is divided into four chapters. Chapter I deals with the demand of on-site gas testing and the advantages and principles of gas chromatography method and puts forward the applicability and significance of that method. Chapter II suggests the instrument choice according to the on-site examination demand of gas and the practice, namely, the application of portable gas chromatograph apparatus. Chapter III presents the experiments of portable gas chromatograph apparatus which aims to study the applicability of gas chromatography method. According to the studes above, Chapter IV sums up the applications of gas chromatography method, practical problems and solutions. |
