With the sustained rapid development of economy, it is impossible for domestic energy supply to meet the demand of consumption in China. The dependence of single channel energy import is increasing and it is neither safe for the energy security of China nor beneficial for China's best strategic interest. Therefore, China is establishing multiplex energy import system, and correspondingly, Central Asian countries are making effort to export energy not just to Russia. In the form of pipeline, the competition in Central Asia between China, United States and Russia is intense. But as a newcomer, China has achieved great accomplishments in Central Asia. However, interferences remain. Despite of difficulties, energy cooperation is a win-win choice for both China and Central Asia.
