Over the past thirty years Non-Government Organizations (NGOs) have played an increasingly influential role in International negotiations, especially on environmental issues. NGOs diplomacy has become, in the field of climate change, marine Resources, water and-soil conservation, radiation protection, clean energy, waste recovery, biodiversity, an active power. Environmental Non-Government Organizations (ENGOs) also become a vital participant in democratizing international environmental decision making.As an economic power, America's greenhouse-gas emissions per cap, resource consumption leaps into the front ranks of the world. It makes America sit in the world environmental stage. NGOs in America develop really well for the government's support from law, preferential tax policy and so on so that they enjoy a wide space of growing up. ENGOs exert an influence both in the domestic affairs and the environmental diplomacy.This article starts from defining the concept, characteristics and category of ENGOs. Then it discusses the activities and the influence ENGOs exerted on American Environmental diplomacy based on an unified framework.
