According to the2010national physical monitoring resultsshow that the many years decline of the physical condition ofprimary and middle school students in China contained, thephysical conditions of college students is continues to decline,reflect the students’ physique entire situation is stillworrying. There are many reasons for the college students’physical health level drops, such as genetic, economic, family,school and student’s own aspect and so on. But this paper arguesthat insufficient physical activity is the root cause ofresulting in a decline in physical health level of students,and school sports for the main task to improve the students’physical health level, the implementation of the school sportsis mainly done through the teaching of physical educationcurriculum, the sports curriculum is the main link of physicaleducation curriculum, its starting point and the rationalityof the related content directly affects the effect of physicaleducation curriculum, and shadow effect on the improvement ofstudents’ physical health level.So in this sense, this paper uses literature review,questionnaire and mathematical statistics methods, such ascolleges and universities student’s physique health in Guiyang area as an example, analyzed the change of the physical dataof students, in recent years to explore whether the schoolsports curriculum has some influence on college students’physical changes, to find practical ways to improve thephysical health of students. In this paper, the conclusion andsuggestion are as follows:Conclusion:Guiyang region of fixed number of years ofundergraduate course colleges and universities sportscurriculum is two years, time is short; Once a week for physicaleducation students and fewer. Guiyang region of undergraduatecourse colleges and universities sports curriculum content andthe actual needs of students was not well together; Graduallyperfect the content of physical education curriculum, realizethe diversity of sports evaluation method; The habit of collegestudents’ life and the way of its own physical health affecttheir body health; Family lack of right concepts of health andeducation, do not pay enough attention to children in physicalexercise.Suggestion:Guiyang region fixed number of years of theundergraduate course colleges and universities should increasethe sports curriculum, make two years could be increased tothree or four years, physical education can also be offered to the big three and four elective courses, to increase the fixednumber of years of the course to improve the students’ physicalhealth. Can also increase the number of physical education, canopen two times a week, and by the frequency of physical exerciseto improve the students’ physical health; Undergraduate coursecolleges and universities to establish a platform tocharacteristic project,between colleges that can learn fromeach other through network, make full use of thecharacteristics of sports curriculum resources; Graduallyimprove the content of physical education curriculum, realizethe diversity of sports evaluation method; To further improvepolicies and regulations for students to take part in physicalexercise intervention; Through the network media publicity.
