Construction Of Educational Game Evaluation Index System Based On Balanced Scorecard

With the popularity of “edutainment”, New educational games have been poppingup, research about educational games also penetrate step by step, however, theresearch of evaluating is still relatively few. Through a large number of literature ofthe existing educational games evaluation index system at home and abroad we canfind:in the educational games field, the authoritative、unified and feasible evaluationcriteria and way have not been formed，measuring rubric is few and evaluationindexes are not clear. Therefore how to establish a complete set of educational gamesevaluation index system become focus of this study.According research topics,this paper is divided into three steps.The first step discusses the research background of this paper. Introduces status ofinstructional game research at home and abroad, discusses research ideas、researchmethods、research purposes and research meanings. Then expounds the theoreticalbasis of this research: balanced scorecard, edutainment,experiential learning theory,game theory and flow theory and classify educational games.The second step is the analysis of the existing educational games evaluation indexsystem at home and abroad, establish three dimensions: educational, experiential,integrated, and introduced the contents of the framework as well; Then, using themodel of educational games evaluation index system based on balanced scorecard tocomplement the evaluation system; Finally through consultation with the relevantpeople about the scientific and Suitability of the evaluation index by compiling aquestionnaire of educational games evaluation,finally revised and consummated theevaluation index system. The final index contains3dimensions amount to24evaluation indexes.The third step is establishment of the evaluation index weight. According to theresults of the questionnaire established the weight of first-level index of educationalgames evaluation, and at all levels distributed the scores, realized the completelyestablishment of educational games evaluation indexes.
