Research On The Current Situation And Developing Trend Of Higher Vocational Colleges In Binhai New Area

Now chinese higher vocational education enters a fast development period. Many countries or regions have paid more attention to it because it has played a very important role in the regional economic development. Since the issuance and implemention of the Vocational Education Law of the People’s Republic of China in1996, the higher vocational education has been identified as having the principal role in the chinese educational system and has developed very quickly within just ten years. The basic reason is that the vocational education not only focuses on serving the regional economic development but also adjusts and optimizes specialty structure and develops students’ career skills and cultivates professionalism to meet the needs of regional economic development.The article has studied the current situation and the future development of the vocational colleges in Tianjin Binhai New Area. After analyzing them, we have found some problems existing in the colleges in the new area. So we can occupy the favorable position in future development and follow the effective ways to satisfy the demands of Tianjin Binhai New Area. The vocational colleges will play an important part in the development and progress of Tianjin Binhai New Area.
