Based on teaching requirement and the actual situation of learners, this paper centers on different words present modes of game and semantic fields, and discusses the teaching design and practice of Chinese vocabulary lesson. According to the comparison and analysis of this two different words present modes, the author finds that it is more easier and better to learn Chinese words in a attitude of game than to learn in a semantic field teaching for new learners. Thus, for new Chinese words learners teachers should concern the study habits of new learners, design a vivid teaching method and create a relaxing atmosphere. Besides, teachers should combine learning and entertainment, bring learners’all sensory organs in the learning process to give them more motivation, thus to increase learners’interests, to attract the attention of students and to enhance their memories.The first chapter is an literature review, it introduces researching purpose and method. The second chapter discusses relative theories of teaching design and presentation of vocabulary. The third chapter analyzes the preparations which should be made before teaching design. Based on these specific examples, the fourth chapter shows the specific examples of teaching design and the comparison results of different present modes. The last chapter discusses and analyzes the causes that lead to difference, and summarizes three aspects that teachers should pay attention to when they make teaching plan of Chinese lesson for children.
