"Pre-scientific concept"(the former concept) is "The understanding of things through a perception of the phenomenon in daily life, long-term accumulation of experience and learning of identification before students receive the scientific concept through formal education", also known as "daily concepts","personal concept" or "alternative concept". Students’ prior knowledge, experience and way of thinking in the new knowledge play an important role in new construction of cognitive structures. If the original structure of knowledge is correct and reasonable, it helps students to assimilate new scientific concepts and build new cognitive structures, and vice versa. In this study, questionnaires, interviews, and other methods of teaching practice, the system probed Plum High School middle school, high school Meri, the former junior high school students to the concept of Metro in chemistry before formal learning has, through the analysis of the concept of junior high school chemistry ago characteristics, teaching strategies presented above middle school students and the general pattern of chemical changes in the former concept and preliminary experimental study conducted teaching. The results of this paper show that the pre-scientific concept is real, the former concept has a very important influence on the chemistry concepts to learn. The study further showed that:in the assimilation theory and constructivist teaching theory guiding concept, the use of teaching strategies and teaching methods before the concept of change, to stimulate students’ thinking contradiction between, causing cognitive conflict, can help students build new knowledge and formation of scientific concepts.
