With the development of the internet technologies, people can cross over the restriction of the time and space and finish asynchronous learning by Network Learning Platform. Nowadays, more and more online learning platforms have been built up at home and abroad. Thus they are likely to provide rich knowledge sources for various learners. However, knowledge is a kind of special resource, and it has a specific structural system. The learning of knowledge must comply with its structure. Otherwise, it is easy for learners to be indulged in some cognitive treks. But now most of the networks learning platforms don don’t have a whole system structure for leaners. Learners still need to have a further organization of knowledge after they learn it. It is more difficult for learners whose levels are in the general level. In addition, when there are a large number of learning resources on the learning platform, the learners need to spend a lot of time to glance over and check them. In such occasion, it causes a lot inconvenience to the learner’s study. As a result, this thesis tries to set up a network learning platform which can support the personalized recommendation. A knowledge map will be introduced in the platform. The aim is to provide a navigation that avoids the learners’cognitive trek problems. Meanwhile, the use of recommendation system is to provide learners with a personalized resource service. In this thesis, the author mainly concern about the following aspects:(l)the author will have a deep analysis of the present situation of the network learning platform, knowledge map navigation and the personalized recommendation of network learning resources at home and abroad. Then the deficiency of the current network learning platform will be pointed out. Besides, the author will put forward the corresponding solutions for those problems. Finally, an introduction of knowledge map navigation and personalized recommendation service will be introduced.(2) The construction of knowledge mapKnowledge map is a graphical display of the relationship between the knowledge place and the knowledge itself. It can help the users to obtain knowledge information promptly and accurately. In this thesis, the author uses the domain ontology to build a knowledge map. Based on ontology, the author can ensure that the structure of knowledge map is unified, standardized. It can not only implement the function of the knowledge navigation and search but also can effectively realize the knowledge sharing and innovation. At the same time, it provides a solid foundation for the construction of knowledge map and dynamic maintenance.(3) The personalized recommendation of learning resourceWhen there are a large number of learning resources in the platform, it is enough to provide personalized recommendation for learners. This platform will be based on a combination of the user-based and the item-based collaborative filtering algorithm. Thus it also can introduce the learners’ learning styles and then recommend suitable resources for them. Beyond that, the accuracy of the system recommendation will be improved. In the meantime, the users’satisfaction and loyalty for network learning platform will also be heighted.
