In order to study a foreign language listening anxiety, working memory span, therelations between and among listening comprehension scores, and national differencesbetween these three variables, this study with67high school grade one students asparticipants, including32called han ethnic group,35called naxi. To Kim, compiled"foreign language listening anxiety self-evaluation scale" evaluation subjects ofEnglish listening anxiety level, for LiQian(2012) compiled by listen to the breadth of"suite" to assess working memory task plaff to measure the working memory span,the subjects, using the grade listening test materials to the participants of hearing test.After statistical analysis found that:(1) han Chinese high school students, English listening to breadth and Chineselisten to significant differences breadth and Chinese breadth levels above the level ofthe breadth and listening to English.(2) the naxi naxi high school students and han, the three kinds of workingmemory to the breadth of average difference reached significant level and the naxistudents three languages to breadth level for Chinese> naxi language> English.(3) of the han nationality and the naxi breadth and listening to Englishachievement significant difference, and the han nationality average is greater than theaverage level of the naxi nationality. And on the breadth of the Chinese listen to twonational sample average difference was not significant.(4) the examination of han nationality and the naxi nationality high schoolstudents in English achievement, listening ability and foreign language listeninganxiety level differences were not significant.(5) han Chinese high school students, the examination of listening ability andEnglish achievement correlated significantly; Examination of foreign languagelistening anxiety and English achievement and listening scores significantly negative correlation; Had no significant correlation between other tasks. An examination ofnaxi students, listening ability and English achievement correlated significantly;Examination of foreign language listening anxiety and English achievement, as wellas listening scores significantly negative correlation; Breadth and examination ofEnglish and English listening scores significantly related; There are significantcorrelation between other breadth.(6) Regression analysis shows that the han nationality and the naxi, the foreignlanguage listening anxiety and English listening to working memory span is to beused to predict and test English listening ability.The research conclusion of this paper is: both national foreign language listeninganxiety and listening scores were significantly negative correlation. But English onlyin naxi to breadth and listening scores of related subjects, in three breadth of hanChinese subjects grades and listening ability is not significantly related. Two foreignlanguage listening anxiety and the subjects of English listen working memory spanwere able to predict the hearing results. But foreign language listening anxiety andworking memory have direct impact to the result, did not find the intermediary titer ofworking memory.
