In the implementation of education evaluation in China, created a new Student Growing up Track Record. The birth of Students Growing up Track Record is the product of the implementation of quality education in primary and secondary schools in China, the new curriculum reform and developmental evaluation to students and student achievement assessment. The influence of the new concept, evaluation of student development is the indispensable part in the reform of education evaluation. It has achieved some progress, also has some problems which need to be improved since the Shanghai Middle and Primary School Students Growing up Track Record(Track Record for short) put into use in 2004.In this thesis, Students Growing up Track Record as the research object, from the point of view of the evaluation index of each subject, through the study of text analysis method of each module and the set of indicators, study on the indicators of rationality and operability, through interviews to understand teachers’ feedback on the Track Record, the opinions and suggestions in the process.This study through the text analysis method of Track Record and the interviews of the primary school teachers of different subjects, draw the following conclusions:(1) Orientation of the basic literacy of people is not clear.(2) The index seems unlikely to work, including that description of the indicators are not specific, index grade is not clear and it doesn’t take into account the various evaluation subjects.(3) Index of stage is not reasonable, including that does not comply with the stage of the development level of students and cannot reflect a student’s real growth path.(4) The repeatability of index is high.(5) The index is patchy, including that academic performance index is inconsistent with the curriculum standards and the subject is not uniform between orientation of goals.On the basis of the above research, combining the theory and problems in the actual operation, construct the evaluation index system of the development of students:(1) Academic performance standards: The academic performance standards of each subject(such as knowledge and skill, process and method, emotion attitude and values)(2) Non-academic performance standards : Evaluation of the development stage characteristics on all aspects of student in the skill, ability, language, moral, social development and so on.
